This is a nice hotel in a good location, especially for PSU families. The restaurant is good, the staff is friendly. But this is my second stay here. Both visits were when the weather in Portland was in the 70s or 80s. The room never cooled off. The staff always had the same excuse--"there's something wrong today. Best to turn the system off." After two nights, it was obvious that the "AC" was nothing more than a fan blowing in outside air. The hallways were cooler as was the lobby. Obviously, the owners are banking on PDX weather for cooling. I felt really ripped off.
