The Park is full of attractions. There is public transit both to the park, and within it. Make a day of it and visit all the sights. Very lush forests.

Washington Park is right on the edge of downtown portland. From the incredible rose garden there is a view of all of Portland and Mt. Hood. The Japanese garden across from the rose garden is worth seeing as is the very impressive Vietnam memorial just down the hill from the rose garden.

Beautiful park with easy access. Even in rainy weather there is plenty to see and do. Directions around the park are easy to follow. We visited the Japanese Garden and the Hoyt Arboretum while in the park.

This park is a real jem with miles of paved hiking paths. It would be easy to spend the entire day here just enjoying the sights and the other guests you meed along the way. It has a number of access points and is huge. We entered near the ZOO and spent most of the afternoon there just exploring. No matter when you visit this excellent park it will always be different with the changing seasons. It also contains the International Rose Tea Garden, Hoyt Arboretum, a Veterans Memorial and many other things to enjoy. Portland is fortunate to have such a fantastic park to enjoy year round.
