This was our first food experience at Ikea. Setup is cafeteria style. They have multiple specials at unbeatable prices; for 3 adults we paid $21. Taste is acceptable - not fine dining flavors but good for the price. Servers are very friendly - even the cashier were kind.

Okay, so this is a cafeteria within a large home furnishings store, located in a shopping district very close to Portland Airport and the I-205 bridge over the Columbia. But when we visited two of our adult kids in the Portland area, it offered a budget alternative for feeding a group of folks. The cafeteria is very clean and bright, and the help is attentive and courteous. There's not a huge selection, but everything is good. Some Swedish items (lingenberry pop, etc), plus daily specials. If you have an IKEA Family Card, you get an additional discount. This evening, we had the turkey special, a full meal with good portions and very reasonable price. No tipping, of course. But it was just right for this occasion.

Yes, you have to walk through part of the store to get to the cafeteria, but for times when all you want is inexpensive, wholesome food without drama or stress, this place is an excellent choice.

After what can be hours shopping this store, the IKEA restaurant is a good place for a quick nosh. Would I plan to eat here if I wasn't shopping here? No, but to take the edge off hours of shopping here, it is a quick, cafeteria style meal to recharge the batteries.

My wife and I love this IKEA! Having food services within the building is genius, especially after walking so much around the store. You tend to get very hungry after shopping. Unlike other places, you have to drive around to a nearby restaurant to find food, but this place has it all. Perfect place for quick bites and affordable.

The set up at IKEA is efficient as their store. The food is tasty and plentiful for the price! Being a IKEA member gives you a discount on your food. Ate the meatball plate and paid only $4! The salmon lasagna was excellent.
