The hotel is OK. I have never stayed at a Four Points that is a small building like this. I was a little worried if it was going to be a old hotel. It worked out - the hallways and floor are more like a regular building (less noise) and things look pretty new.

The room is pretty big. I had a King room and it was so big, it seemed a little empty. The bathroom could have been a little bigger but it was no tiny. My room had a microwave and refrigerator.

The bed is the regular Four Points bed and is very comfortable.

The furniture in the room is good but the setup of the power outlet was not convenient. There is no plug on the desk lamp and the nearest outlet was at least a foot away. The lights over the bed are too high - people will short arms can't probably turn the lights on and off without getting up.

I stayed here three months ago and had a "good room". I stayed here a couple of nights ago, and "not so good". I'll post pics that detail the inferior room (for a Starwood Gold member). But other complaint is that the TV/Cable system requires an IT genius to even watch plain old network TV! There was no guidance to decipher the TV system in the room, so I called the front desk and was told to read the info in the room!!! I took her all the "info in the room", which ranged from a telephone book to a bible to ... Then she printed out a list of TV channels available. She came to my room to show me how to get from the on/off button past the Starwood TV/Adult movies/ etc to plain network and cable TV, but even she could NOT find any sort of a programming guide to tell me what program was on any channel at 8:30. TV should be self-explanatory OR the hotel should provide a step-wise guide to get to the basic channels and a program schedule. No? Am I expecting too much? I'm not illiterate, but I sure felt stupid. I think the front desk attendant felt pretty frustrated with their system too.
OK, that said...this hotel is pretty shabbily constructed. I get the feeling of cheap, cheap, cheap. Its fairly new, but it's already failing. See pics for moldy caulk at the tub/shower, bathroom door finish peeling off due to humidity, etc...
If you're driving southbound on 181st Avenue, you're past the hotel before you see the signs, and it's a huge drive around the block to get back to it. Best to u-turn and go back north on 181st.
The breakfast was very basic cereal, donuts, coffee, juice, toast.

We stayed one night on points and loved our brief stay. The king bed and pillows were sooo comfortable. Room with a frig was very clean. Coffee in the room and in the lobby. The "grab and go" breakfast was fine with numerous choices for carbs, but they did have fruit and yogurt as well. A good location if you have a car. Would stay here again.

Let's be real. The options on this side of town are poor. Very poor. Your best places to stay at here or the Holiday Inn Express.

This one is by far our preferred hotel, particularly for the price. We can typically get rates less than $95.00.

It has a small, but decent fitness facility (and I am saying this compared to the other hotels which have nothing, or have a treadmill that is so ancient its rusty).

The rooms are nothing special, but we find them to be clean. We only shower and sleep here, so that is all we need.

The location is nice for us as it is close to grandpa, and just off the interstate. But if you want to really see Portland, this is the totally wrong hotel for you. Unless you don't mind taking the train into town. The train is an easy walk from the hotel (easy meaning 1 mile or less).

Stayed here for two nights on points and was treated as a good customer. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was adequate with no issues. Only disappointment is no coffee available after "breakfast" area closed (at least when I went looking for a cup).

Room Tip: The property is located on a major road and can say that just about any room is good. No noise from...

This Four Points is amazing! From the outstanding customer service to the super spacious room and comfortable bed, our stay couldn't have been better! We also appreciated that they keep the pool/hot tub open 24/7. There is a restaurant right next door and we were able to get a nice big breakfast - even after noon. We already made reservations to return!
