This hotel was best summarized by a staff member as she described it to a customer on the phone--"it needs renovation, but it is clean". It is true, the rooms are not much too look at, especially when compared to the building they have you check in at, the much swankier Park Lane Suites. Nothing in the room matched and the bathroom fixtures were worn, but it did seem clean and was quite comfortable. And, it was really really cheap! When my brother and I went, they had a flat rate of $49/night for all the rooms, even ours which had two queen-sized beds. It is also fairly close to shopping in downtown Portland. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.
