First, be sure you realize the Inn and the Suites are two separate buildings. The Inn is basically a typical motel, not unlike a Motel 6 or Red Roof: no interior halls, doors facing the parking lot, no elevator, few amenities. It did have free wi-fi. The Suites is a larger building right across the street. The front desk is there.
We stayed at the Inn. The best two features are definitely price and location. I simply couldn't find anything decent for the price within walking distance of downtown. The neighborhood itself is very quiet and pleasant residential, only a few blocks from some great restaurants, pubs and shops on NW 23 and NW21. It is less than a mile to walk to Pioneer Courthouse Square and other downtown favorites. Washington Park and its lovely gardens are even closer.
The room was clean and the bed very comfortable; the best of the four places we stayed this trip.
The negatives were mainly the bathroom. For some reason, I was given a handicapped-accessible room. Ironically, it would be difficult for someone in a wheelchair to get to this or any other room in the Inn. The shower had no tub (understandable), but the spray is handheld and tied up with a rubber band so you had to stand and hold it with one hand so you could spray yourself, just a crazy set up.More
