Spent points for a free night after returning to Portland. Rooms are typical Embassy Suites with two rooms and mini-fridge/microwave. Can be noisy from aircraft taking off to the east, as others have commented. Keycard doors confuse many travelers, according to the front desk, as when you insert the card, both green & red lights come on. (I travel alot and usually its just green lights for opening the door). Large LCD TVs in room but no channel guide inside info guide. Several channels were very grainy and all were analog (which is low tech for these LG TVs). The breakfast was good, again typical Embassy Suite fare, with cook-to-order omelets and buffet style for all other items. The omelet maker was very personable. The night of our stay the hotel had a large party (Willamette Dental Group) at the hotel, so the kitchen was closed for dinner service. Parking was also non-existent during this party. We got there too late for the manager's reception and did not use the internet (and pay the fee!).
When we stay by the Portland airport its either this hotel (for the breakfast) or the nearby Residence Inn (for the full kitchen/fireplace). Both have airplane noise issues though.
