Our first visit to Wildspring was the perfect place for peace and quiet. We enjoyed the solitude of the forest and the restfulness of the warm cabin. Breakfast was creative, plentiful and delicious! There were many things to see in the area, yet no crowds. We had Cape Blanco Beach to ourselves. A wonderful escape for us!

What a jewel!
The grounds are impressive with forest and deer, spa and ocean view. The cozy yet spacious and beautiful cabins are perfect. The roses and chocolates in the room was such a special touch. The breakfast was delicious. Michelle and Dean are incredible and wonderful people that made this enchanting place a reality and graciously share it with others. WildSpring is well worth the time and money.
I have never found the combination of luxury and nature intertwined so harmoniously.

Room Tip: We stayed in (Raintree) however all the cabins are fabulous!

Port Orford seems remote, but when you arrive at Wildspring, it is worth every mile. A lighted trail led us to our cozy cabin in the woods, and when we woke in the morning, surrounded by trees, we knew we were exactly where we needed to be for a wonderful long weekend. There was a delicious breakfast prepared in the guest lodge every morning, where we had view of the ocean, and if the weather had been warmer, we would have taken advantage of the spa. This is an incredible property, close to 101, but secluded and full of charming details. We would love to return!

Room Tip: We were in cabin #4, but I'm sure all the cabins are great!

My fiancée and I had gotten engaged the day before, and arrived at WildSpring on Valentine's Day in the midst of a crazy winter storm. After a crazy night camping in the rain, WildSpring was the warmest, most welcome respite.

Our cabin (Annwyn) was HUGE, with great touches like roses on the table and the wood stove prepped for a fire. The radiant heating warmed our damp feet, and made the spacious cabin feel very cozy. Despite crazy wind and rain outside, our cabin was SO quiet and dark (with the lights out) - perfect for a much needed deep sleep.

We really enjoyed the guest hall - both for tea and a snack upon arrival while staring out at the storm, and the next morning for an incredible breakfast. The french toast dish with homemade berry compote was out of this world.

Other things we loved: Walk-in shower with stone tile. Massage table in the cabin. Hidden artwork and sculptures throughout the grounds. Strong eco-friendly ethic. Less than a 2-minute drive to Port Orford (we strongly recommend Paula's Bistro for dinner). Amazing view from the guest hall and viewing platform, looking out over the ocean and port.

We didn't have time to use the hot tub, and didn't want to break the calm with a selection of one of their hundreds of DVDs, but perhaps next time (we WILL be back).

Lastly, the hosts Dean and Michelle are the type that stay out of your way if you want them to, but are incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful whenever you need them. Thank you both for a magical experience - we can't imagine a better way to launch into life's next chapter.

This was an outstanding choice for our road trip. The cabins are nestled into the trees and are beautifully presented. Every little detail has been considered in both the rooms and the guest lodge. After a long day driving it was great to be able to rest in the hot spa overlooking the ocean and then make ourselves a quick meal in the guest hall and chat. Breakfast was AMAZING (the best we have ever had). We travelled with our two sons (16 & 18 years) so this was a family holiday - but it would make a really special romantic location.

My boyfriend and I were the only guests staying here for one night recently, on a trip from Portland to San Francisco. We arrived after dark and followed the instructions in the lovely guest porch just inside the gate. The paths were lit with lights under the trees and everything was really quite magical.
Our cabin was delightful - super-clean and comfortable with lovely touches like candles and chocolates. Best of all was our short trek through the trees to the hot tub, overlooking the ocean and the stars - which we had all to ourselves that evening. Perfect!
In the morning we were treated to an extraordinary breakfast in the guest dining room, prepared by our host who quickly gave us space to enjoy it once he was done presenting it all. It was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a B&B, including a quiche, bacon, oatmeal and fruit and nuts, many baked treats and even a fruit cobbler, which I desperately wanted to try but simply didn't have any room for!
I cannot wait to revisit this gem. We felt fortunate to have found it.

This is the best-ever stay for my wife and I except for our honeymoon. We biked there, asked them to have the hot tub ready for us. We caught the end of the sunset over the Pacific and enjoyed the entire stay. Breakfast was incredible and we enjoyed it with another couple staying there - it was a joy to meet them. The innkeepers took care of us, but stayed out of our way so we could enjoy the solitude.
