The only disappointment was that the lighthouse is closed on Tuesdays and we were there on a Tuesday, so no opportunity to get close/go inside this lighthouse for us on this trip. But otherwise, it was another beautifully scenic place to stop and take photographs and enjoy the fresh sea air!

Husband and I went to the top of the light house, it was soo pretty looking out over the ocean from up there, but it is very windy.

This is a gem of a park for a great camping experience. The lighthouse is well worth a visit. Expect wind in the summer/early fall, it's a very windy part of the coast. Usually a little less windy in the am. The campgrounds themselves are fairly protected from the wind, so you can still enjoy sitting around the campfire at night. The clear nights are super for stargazing as there is very little light pollution on this part of the coast. We visit here at least once per year - usually on the off weeks (non-holiday weekends) when we have a better chance of getting a good spot for our trailer.
