Beautiful to see. Tours were not available at the time we visited but it's a pretty little light house. The campground need some improvements and it is very windy year round on the peninsula. Historical museum is more than interesting.

The bluffs overlookiing the ocean is great. High winds are the norm. Wonderful lighthouse.

The trails are tunnels through the thick ever-green forrest and open to a view overlooking the ocean. Very pretty.

We visited Cape Blanco State Park, which is a little outlying, on a foggy afternoon in September.
As it was late in the afternoon we did not take the lighthouse tour but walked around a little bit (tour costs 2 USD).
We saw big cow parsnips, squirrels, deer and birds and we really loved the fresh stormy air.
Because of the bad weather we could not see the sea and did not visit Hughes House (free, donations) but next time we are staying at the northwestern coast we will!
You find a campside, too. We stayed in motels, can´t report about that.
