We made a reservation as suggested. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Good menu. I enjoyed the fresh catch of the day and my husband had a burger and we both left quite satisfied.

We stayed overnight in Port Orford and this restaurant was top of the Trip Advisor list for this small village. We didn't expect a great deal but were hugely surpirsed by how great the decor, service, food, wine list and views were. Unlike some previous contributors we did not think the restaurant was pricey, having had great service, 3 wonderful courses each and drinks, the bill came to a little over $70 - not expensive for what we got - the sea food was brilliant. We left the restaurant at 9.45pm (eating early for us) and were the last in the facility on a Friday night - nobody eats late Port Orford. If this restaurant was in a large town or city you would have to queue to get in every night and it would be booked soild for weeks in advance. Highly recommended

The title about says it all. We had a corner window seat, with an amazing view. The chowder was interesting: clams, corn, crab, potatoes...but lots of butter floating on it. Too rich, really. Crab cakes were excellent ($14 for two small ones.) My salad was just okay, $9 for mostly field greens with a a few bits of goat cheese, four blueberries and some candies almonds. The chicken and shrimp dinner was very good - amazing polental, probably made from scratch. The chioppino/paella combination was also amazing, but at $31, pretty pricey. A bottle of King's Estate Pinot Gris was $32, again probably three times what you would pay in a store. Their wine list goes on and on and supposedly has won its own award ($1980 a bottle was about the pricest). All in all, it was a nice dinner, if a bit lacking in some areas, and definitely not a place to go if you don't wish to spend a lot.

This is a trendy little place in a very un-trendy town. The restaurant is situated on a cliff overlooking the ocean with a magnificent view. Food was okay, nothing to rave about.

Yes, the view is amazing, but no seafood? Really? Went there for a romantic dinner with my partner. First thing we were told on being seated is "sorry, we're out of scallops, salmon, clams and cod." It was only 7:00PM on a Wednesday. So, I had the lamb and he had the chicken - our second choices. The saving grace is that they were both cooked to perfection and the sauces were yummy. Also, they could use more staff. When we arrived we had to wait 15 minutes for our reservation because they were so busy. They only had one bartender and one server working in the entire restaurant. The hostess at our B&B told us our whole experience wasn't unusual. For the price, I certainly expect more. All I can say is, "management pay attention!!"
