We ate at Redfish right after we checked into Wild Springs. It is on the nicer side of things but they still made us feel comfortable in our tennis shoes and sweatshirts. We had a million dollar view of the ocean as the sun was setting. Being from Orange County, Ca you rarely can eat looking out at a fairly uncrowded beach without reservations made months ago.

The food was to die for! The crab cakes were so delicious. I recommend trying them to anyone, they're worth every penny. Both nights we went I had the Ribeye steak and my husband had the Redfish Burger one night and the Rib Eye the other night. Both nights it was tender and juicy and everything cooked to perfection. The service was spot on and everyone was so sweet. They even gave us other recommendations for restaurants in the surrounding areas.

We'd heard the food was good here, but were a little wary because of the location. We were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is nice, but nothing special. My husband had an excellent steak with an impressive demi-glace, and I had a top-notch piece of grilled salmon in beurre blanc. Steamer clams as an appetizer are a must - they're served with a mass of sauteed mushrooms in the sauce. Wine is is well-priced and well-selected; we had a Turley Zinfandel that was very good.

A gorgeous place overlooking the Pacific. Pretty expensive, decent food most of the time, better than coffee shope, but certainly nothing to rave about. Best for lunch.

Enjoyed a nice dinner and a beautiful view at the Redfish. We ordered the Redfish Chowder, Fields of Green Salad and the Salmon special. All were excellent. Took advantage of the local options on the wine list. Service was excellent!

great view, attached to a art gallery, but like the art the food is overpriced and leaves a lot to be desired.

YOU WANT THE ABSOLUTE BEST SEAFOOD ON THE OREGON COAST OR ANYWHERE WE HAVE BEEN IT IS AT THE LIGHTHOUSE A BIT SOUTH OF NEWPORT.

We drive a 100 miles out of the way for it anytime we have to go to the north valley
