Our gracious hostess and hosts, Marijo, Tracy, and Kevin, helped make our time in the Pendleton, Oregon area a great experience. We were delighted by the history, elegance, and comfort of Pendleton House. All of the reasons we choose to stay at a bed and breakfast were satisfied and more. We also enjoyed walking a few blocks from Pendleton House to the downtown district for meals and shopping.

We enjoyed a wonderful Wedding Anniversary at the Pendleton House Bed and Breakfast we were met and made to feel right at home, wine, truffles suggestions for dinner and all manner of helpful information. Marijo, Tracey and Kevin made sure everyone was made welcome and they were such delightful company, joining guests on the front porch, laughing and telling stories better entertainment you couldn't wish for. The food was good, the bed very comfortable and the house itself is great to see.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front have a large balcony, all rooms have their own unique appeal

My husband and I ended a week long bicycling trip with a stay at the Pendleton House B&B. We really enjoyed meeting the owners, Marijo, Tracy and Kevin. Marijo was especially hospitable, offering lovely wines on the beautiful veranda in the evening (and her dog, Summer, is totally adorable). We met the other guests there and ended up having dinner with them, which was delightful. The next morning, after a 25-mile early morning bike ride, we enjoyed a terrific breakfast on the veranda and spent some time chatting with Tracy and Kevin. Warm and welcoming. Comfortable...and you can walk anywhere in Pendleton from the B&B. Highly recommended.

When they say that "The Pendleton House Bed and Breakfast is truly one of the friendliest and most elegant retreats in Eastern Oregon." it's not just a tag line... it's the absolute truth.

Marijo, Kevin and Tracy are without a doubt the freindliest proprietors we have ever encountered and coupled with the high level of service, graceful atmoshphere, and amazing fare we found ourselves wanting to stay indefinitly...

Bottom Line: The Pendleton House was by far one of our favorite places and a must visit from here on out! I can only give it my HIGHEST reccomendation.

The Gwendolyn room with the balcony was our home away from home. We felt pampered in this luxurious room. Marijo greeted us after our long drive with wine and truffles. We visited with fellow travelors on the porch and were taken back in time. Marijo, Tracy and Kevin made us feel like familly. We laughed and laughed and shared our lives. Eating a gourmet breakfast, we shared conversation with people from several countries. I highly recomend this experience. We will definately return and stay with what seems now like old friends.

To start when you walk in it feels like home. Marijo, Tracy, & Kevin were very gracious host. It was enjoyable talking to all of them. They offered lots of suggestions on site seeing as well as where to eat.
For me it would be hard to open my home to strangers but they enjoy the visits. Other B&B that my husband & I have been to the owners usually disappear. That was not the case all though if you would prefer i am sure they would. It was very nice to hear where they were from and some about themselves. We will tell others for sure as I already have and maybe be back with more guest for them. Breakfast was very good and you they were always right there if you needed anything. We love the older homes for B&B, they have a lot of charater.

My husband and I were given a gift of four nights at this Bed & Breakfast. We had never even though of going to Pendleton, Oregon and wondered what we would find when we got there. The B&B was delightful--nice space, comfortable rooms, yummy breakfast. We stayed in the Gwendolyn Room and enjoyed sitting out on the upper deck looking out over the city sipping wine. We got great suggestions for what to do and see in the area. In particular, the natural sightseeing suggestions from Kevin for region east of Pendleton and much of the rest of central Oregon were fantastic. Imagine walking along part of the actual Oregon Trail! You can do that from Pendleton! Also, in Pendleton, be sure to do the Underground Tour. The steak at Hamley's was out of this world. And, if you like beer, be sure to go to Prodigal Son brewery and do their beer taster menu. As Pendleton is quite small, the location of the Pendleton House is perfect. You can go back and rest a bit before continuing on to other sights and adventures.

Most importantly, though, Kevin, Tracy and Marijo were wonderful hosts and we really felt like family by the time we left after the fourth night. Thanks for a lovely visit!
