We enjoyed the best meal we have eaten in a restaurant in years. We can hardly wait to go back! The seafood chowder, made on site, was superb. My husband loves pan-fried oysters, but seldom do they live up to his expectations in a restaurant. These were sheer perfection.

It's like a 1920s western Victorianesc speek-easy. This place is so cool. And the food and service was tops. Not cheap, but excellent. You get what you pay for. Loved it.

We went for dinner rather late on a Friday night during the Pendleton Round Up and had no reservations... soooo there was a crowd lined up to get in. We had to wait about 50 min. for a table, but luckily we spotted an opening at the bar, so the small crowd of us bellied up and quckly turned that into a nice little party. This place was crowded and hopping. Old time cowboy bar scene exciting atmosphere. The bar drinks were done well and the "tenders" were quite attentive although the little gal was shaking up a martini of some kind and lost her grip on the glass portion of the shaker and it hit the bar by my arm and shattered glass all over the area. We got it picked up... I think... pretty well and continued with the party. Oh, yes the seating was ok, the steaks and prime rib were average or a little better and the sides were average. They were really busy and i was amazed that, by the time we got seated, they still even had prime rib or decent steaks. Not a gourmet experience, but, for a good time, authentic old time atmosphere and pretty decent food and drinks, we would recommend a stop here when you are at the PRU.
