We had lunch today. We shared a calamari appetizer and the fish and chips.
The service was excellent. And they actually split the fish plate for us.
The calamari was very tender but the breading was greasy and fell off. Calamari was served with a decent marina sauce and a very weird 1000 dressing and a pile of peperoncini mixed with the calamari ...wth.
The fish an chips .. tarter sauce was bland, ff out of a bag, coleslaw should have been thrown out 2 days ago. Fish ... while my spouse liked it well enough, I thought it was a bit greasy.
Overall happy with our service but the food not so much and very over priced. $16.99 for 3 small pieces of fish, some frozen ff and old coleslaw.

“Beer and excellent food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2014

We always stop here when on the coast. Even if we have to go out of our way! Their beer is award winning, many many medals. And, yes it taste great. We have never had a bad meal. The clam chowder was among the most delicious we have had on the coast! The burgers and fish and chips are recommended !

“Good food, really slow to get a table when busy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2014 via mobile

Been here many, many times. Enjoy the food, we'll-prepared, served promptly. But, when it's busy - most weekends and most if the summer - if they tell you the wait is 25 minutes, plan on 50, 30 minutes, plan on an hour. Unless you're in a hurry, the food and beer is worth the wait.

“Great beer but over priced food!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2014

The beer and the view are outstanding! The food is fairly good but way overpriced!! My spouse had a bowl do chili and a beer and I had a salad and a beer - the bill was $40! Ouch!

“Great beer and amazing location!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2014

One of mine and my husband's favorite places! The prices are a bit high for the quality, but you just can't really beat the view and their beer is delicious (you have to try their beer sampler!!). I do have to add, however, that their fresh salmon is the best I've ever had, and their breakfast near the top. The service has always been average, but with a location like this, we will continue to return!
