This is a great little joint in the cute town of Pacific City. Whether you're looking for a fine-dining experience or just a funky Bar experience this place does it all. The restaurant itself is intimate and always serves fantastic bisto-fare with the freshest food and innovative preparation. The little bar next door is also cozy but offers the best of the dining room food in a more relaxed and fun environment.

Whatever you're looking for be sure to make this a stop on your vacation and you won't be disappointed.

If you didn't know where to look for it, you'd never find it. A real hidden treasure on the Oregon Coast, attached to a '40s-looking motel, but a cuiinary delight for Foodies! Once inside the restaurant, the dining room itself in pretty and comfortable. It's hard to go wrong with the numerous choices on a varied menu. Salads feature fresh Oregon greens and cheeses, intriguing apps and sides (the macaroni and cheese, listed as a side dish, could easily make a satisying meal with a salad and good bottle of wine from a Wine Spectator award-winning list. Prices for both food and wine are quite reasonable, especially for the quality. Occasionally somethingf on the menu may miss the mark, but offhand I can't recall anything glaring after several visits. Beef selections are reliably good (wirh great reds to match on the wine list! Including burgundies with lots of age on them). One of our top 2 or 3 favorites at the Coast!

Make sure you visit their bar area around the side. The service was great. Our dinner was one of the best we have had. The wild king salmon was moist and tasty. It is on the higher end in prices, but well worth it. We brought a bottle of wine, which they charge $20 to cork, but was informed that if we purchased a bottle from them, they would waive the corking fee, even if it was a 1/2 bottle. Which I thought was nice of them to inform us of that. I would go back again and again. Highly recommended.

Loved our recent supper here--deliciously fresh seafood prepared with a deft touch, great service, good music, and a cute motel-front ambiance, make this place a real find in Pacific City.

The exterior attached motel and cheesy sign belie the interior charm and quality of this restaurant's interesting mix of high cuisine inside and Oregon back country atmosphere just outside the front door.
Terrific Pomegranate cocktail on windless window enclosed back terrace w/ view of air strip yards away.
One appetizer was mouth watering ribs that fell off the bone (smothered in Marionberry sauce to die for…a perfect blend of sweet and savory) Unfortunately, the main course Halibut was over cooked… and on both of the same two entrees we ordered. At $27.50 each, that's unacceptable... especially when it's on a completely tasteless potato puree.
Otherwise, everything else was pretty darn good and I will go back, if only to see if the halibut was an anomaly… (but will reject any similarly prepared food next time…) Definitely worth trying... but don't accept anything but their best.
