“Wish we could have stayed longer!”
Reviewed May 12, 2013 via mobile

With no plans where we were staying, we found this place by chance. The roar of the ocean from the front porch was so wonderful. Kitchenette was furnished with just what we needed. Living room had comfy furniture. Slept with the windows open and felt safe.

Walked down the beach and through the tunnel to a quiet beach.

I would return here in a heartbeat!

We stayed in cabin #22 that has a full kitchen and separate bedroom with a queen size bed. The cabin was clean, the bathroom was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the bed and bath linens were of good quality. Are these luxury cabins? No. Are these rustic cabins? No. They are a clean and comfortable retreat from the normally heavily touristed areas along the Oregon coast run by a friendly owner/manager. The cabins sit just above the rugged and gorgeous beach. We are looking forward to going back to the Ocean Front Cabins.

We don't get the chance to travel often and when we do we want something cheap, clean and away from it all. We have been coming to Ocean Front Cabins for over 15 years. Yes the cabins are small but they are clean, cozy and quiet. Oceanside its self is quiet and peaceful, Not a lot of touristy type activities, but those are not far away in Tillamook. And Lincoln City or Cannon Beach are just a short drive away. Cell service is iffy, but free Wi-Fi is a bonus.

Room Tip: Cabins 19 and 20 are perfect for 2. But if you want a little more room like we need with the big dog...

Cute cozy clean quiet cabins, overlooking beach. Several restaurants within one block. Popular restaurant two miles away at Nethart called The Schooner. Not much to do except watch & or walk the beach. Close to Tillamook for tourist attractions. We stayed in unit 22. Nicely furnished. No t.v. in bedroom. Complete kitchen with stove, refer microwave.. Nice ocean view from the cabins. We would stay here again should we be near Oceanside. We stayed for three days. rates were reasonable.

Stayed in #23, which is the smallest one. Plenty big for 1 or 2. This is one my favorite coastlines in Oregon and there are a lot of magnificent ones. You can sit on the porch and look down on the parking area for Oceanside Beach (which is free due to some wonderful family donating their land. )The ocean is full view from the room and a very easy walk. Everybody in the cabins seemed to have dogs and it was so friendly, like being in a little community. Great place to paint, sit, do nothing. The town is ever so small, not even a C Store.
I had scoped this place out from previous trips along the Oregon coast. Definitely not a tourist town and that is what I was looking for. No stores, malls, fastfood........ Barely any stopsigns

Room Tip: # 23 is the smallest and only has a microwave but if you arent cooking, I wouldnt see any reason to...

We stopped for one night in cabin 23 on an Oregon road trip. Apart from the fact that it poured rain for the entire week, staying at ocean side was a cozy little escape. The cliffs and coastline are extremely dramatic and made for a great view from our cabin bed. The rain meant we had the beach to ourselves and it was actually quite fun getting soaked outside and then retreating back to our cabin. I'm sure in nicer weather, the sunsets are unbelievable. For 55 bucks per night, a steal.

Room Tip: Cabin 23 has no kitchen, but had a fridge, sink, counter top, kettle, coffee etc...

Spent two nights in Cabin #22 and loved it. Just up from the beach. Very comfortable with one bedroom, a full kitchen, satellite TV, couch, recliner, and small dining table. The sink/vanity is separate from the toilet/shower, which is convenient. It was just what we were looking for and a steal price-wise at this time of year. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for cooking our own meals. As others have said, these are not luxury accomodations. However, they are very clean and are perfect for those that don't need/want to spend $300/night on a fancy hotel. We will definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Check out their website to get more info on cabin sizes and amenities. Some cabins had a small cove...
