Description: Tolly's is located in a historic brick building built in 1872. It originally housed the towns drug store and mercantile. As you walk into the restaurant you immediately feel as though you have gone back in time to another era. Local art lines the walls and there are cabinets and displays of antiques throughout the entire facility. We have an antique soda fountain circa 1901 that was recently refurbished and is functional. The bar has a back bar originally built in 1910, there is an 1885 Bosendorffer concert grand piano, 1 of only 3 not in a museum, piano music is played for diners Friday and Saturday evenings. Outside we have beautiful patio, gardens and Koi pond. Hope to see you for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Falling off the plate ham steak. Excellent value since leftovers were lunch. Loved it. Will most definitely order again. Loved the setting

“Very nice as a leisurely stop.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013 via mobile

Great, vintage atmosphere, lovely outdoor patio area, cute location, & really good quiche. Dessert was fabulous, & they have a lot of options for a sweet tooth. But they were quite busy the weekend we visited, & the service - although friendly - was very slow. So plan to take your time.

“Step back in time.”

I loved this place. We stopped here for breakfast, which was excellent. Very charming, very friendly, invited to look around. There was an authentic soda fountain, old time candy and antiques. Beautiful staircase.

We had been comeing since the new owners reopend last Febuary. In 1 short year the service has gone from stellar to sub par. the food isnt as consistantly good as in the past also the restaurant doesnt have as many interesting antiques to look at and the art on the walls not nearly as nice.sorry to see it going down hill so soon

“When it finally arrived...it was ok, but nothing special.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2013

We visited Tolly's for lunch when we stopped to check out Oakland. The decor was true to the old timey feel of the town and it was entertaining while we waited to be noticed and seated. The restaurant appeared to be fairly quiet and the drink order was taken quickly. When the drinks arrived many minutes later, we gave the waitress our order. It was literally over an hour to get the food, and we were not communicated with until we finally asked the distracted waitress to check on our order after the first 30 minutes. She explained they had two "large" parties in another part of the restaurant and the kitchen was backed up. You could tell by her detached reply she's said that a few times before. When the food finally arrived it was nicely presented. The vegetable quiche was very good. The vegetarian sandwich was dry and had lots of iceberg lettuce. Burgers were good, but nothing special. For our trouble, they deducted two coffees. We would not return. It's too bad, we really tried to like this place.
