We stayed at the Mill Casino for one week in June of
2005. Our advice for booking at this hotel is to
first, join the Millionaire's Club, you will save
money on your room. Also, request a bayside room.
The view is quite peaceful. The room service
we had was excellent. Highly recommend the
Millionaire Club sandwich! Also, every meal we
at at the Flank House restaurant in the hotel was
very very good! The staff was super friendly
and very attentive. This is the best hotel in
the area!

We stayed at the Mill Hotel for one night, as it was the only place in town that had a room available. There was only one room, and it was a smoking room, not a pleasant place for non-smokers to sleep. If I'm objective, the room was absolutely fine for what we paid - rack rate of US$109. The room was spacious, adequately furnished, with a functional bathroom. But it STANK!! I don't know how hotels can avoid this, but the smell of stale smoke was overwhelming in the room. The corridor outside was fine, but the room was anything but. If you object to the smell of stale smoke, make sure that you have a non-smoking room before deciding to stay here.

Everything was wonderful about this hotel. All employees were very pleasant and helpful. Warm apple cider and cookies in the afternoon were a surprise treat. I travel with others but like my own room, and I always felt very safe. This is the only place to stay in the area.

My wife and I stayed here on our anniversary and got a romance package. Breakfast and dinner was included, although they only gave us two $15 vouchers for dinner and the bill was $50 total. Still I wouldn't complain, the food was great. We had a corner suite overlooking the bay which included a bottle of champagne, a jacuzzi tub, two bathrooms, three tvs, and even rose petals on the bed. Overall a very good value and the service was amazing. My wife bent over in the hall to look at her shoe and one of the workers asked if she was ill. Great to find some place that cares.

I stumbled onto the Mill Casino/Hotel while researching a recent trip to the Oregon Coast. Coos Bay was the farthest point south we planned to travel. The Mill is well worth the trip. I booked a corner Jucuzzi Suite (hint: join their Millionaire's Club and you'll get $10 off the room rate). One word described our reaction after opening the door...Wow. It was huge. Nicely decorated with Pendleton print furniture and pillows, it had a rustic, yet classy lodge feel to it. There was a big screen television in the sitting room, another television next to the corner jucuzzi and yet another television in the bedroom. Top that off with two bathrooms, a decent view of the bay and boardwalk (albeit a view of a sawmill as well) and all the amenities and you have a truly sweet suite. The casino property itself is spacious and modern. It has the obligatory buffet with standard buffet fare. It also has a nicer restaurant and a snack bar. The casino has a no alcohol policy, but there is a bar on premises with entertainment. The Mill is definitely on my list of places to visit again.
