“A lovely place to honor and remember our veterans”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2009

This new memorial is located on the northern edge of Coos Bay, and is right next to Hwy 101, so it's easy to find. There is ample parking for cars and RV's.

Three tall flagpoles crown this small park - proudly flying the US flag, the POW/MIA flag, and the State of Oregon flag. There are several granite monuments with poignant, meaningful quotes. There are beautiful views of Coos Bay, the huge bridge to the south and the sand dunes to the north.

Worth a stop to take a moment and remember the brave men and women who served to keep America free.
