My husband and I decided that since we were staying at the Hotel we would just stay in and have a nice steak dinner. When we arrived we were seated promptly and had a nice view of the bay. We ordered an the carpaccio appetizer which was good and a local bottle of wine which was great. I ordered the surf and turf and had it upgraded to a Filet and Lobster tail, and my husband ordered the Ribeye. After my first bite of the filet I had to stop eating it. Now, we do have a very high quality taste for steak and food but I believe anyone would have been dissatisfied with the quality of steak. The filet was chewy and hard to cut into and it tasted as if it was a frozen cut that had been served. My husband said his steak was ok, but definetly not to the quality we are used to from where we come from.
The waitress was very apologetic and removed the charge from our check which was very kind of her. But I was very disappointed with the meal. The only thing that made up for it was how kind the waitress was in trying to rectify the situation.
