Like other reviewers have noted, the service here is iffy. The older woman who seated us seemed a bit frazzled and we had to ask for a server as nobody even came to offer us a beverage. (sidenote: they have a lounge upstairs that can mix a Blood Mary for diners in the main restaurant. The menu only mentions beer and wine.) Once she arrived, our server (also quite elderly) was very friendly and attentive. She promptly delivered the extra napkins and side of ranch we ordered and our waters and tea were refilled when only half empty.
The clam chowder was perfect - creamy with the right amount and size of clams and seasonings. The batter of the fried fish was light so the flavor of the fish came through nicely. The fish burger came with a huge filet - also perfectly battered. The fries were "eh", but I drowned them in Ranch dressing.
The views are great, but the restaurant itself is a bit outdated. With a little attention, it could be a pretty great place.
