The Grand Victorian
Ranked #4 of 7 Newport B&B and Inns

We really enjoyed staying at the Grand Victorian, even in January we managed to have a great time at the beach and exploring Newport. The Victorian Suite is worth the expense with space, comfort and privacy it ensures you. Eileen makes a mean breakfast (make sure you get the hashbrowns) that will save you money on your lunch expenses because you will not be hungry again until supper. Don't forget the cupcakes and cookies for dessert! A great romantic time.

I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Grand Victorian. The B&B is spotless and the owners, Eileen and Terry provide exceptional service.

This great bed and breakfast is located only a block from the ocean. We were greeted upon arrival with appetizers and given a tour of the cozy three story house. The owners are incredibly friendly and came to talk with us for a while after we returned to the house in the evening.

The house is kept very clean, yet it also feels very comfortable, with an "at home" feeling that can be hard to find. In the morning, we were given an enormous and delicious breakfast that included eggs, bacon, waffles, hash browns, juice, and coffee.

The next time we are on the Oregon coast, we will definitely be staying at the Grand Victorian again.

This is a nice place, very clean and well located, just a few blocks away from the beach in the historic Nye beach area.
We have stayed in the suite, on the third floor, king size bed, a large bathroom with spa tub and shower. The breakfast is abundant with pancakes, french toast etc...
Overall a nice place to stay in Newport with very good service and good breakfast. However I would have appreciated more fruits for breakfast.

i have 3 children (15, 4, 2) and staying in a hotel is not the best. We ended up in Newport on our way home to washington and decided to stay 2 nights. The Grand Victorian had an opening for the cottage. perfect pricing, location, and meet all the needs for our family. The cottage is seperate from the main house, so I did not have to worry about my 2 youngest bothering others by their running, screaming & laughing. The cottage even passed the test for my 15 year old. It may seem small, but it wasn't crowded. It is very homey and comfortable. having a fridge, washer/dryer, kitchen, separate rooms really made it worth every penny and then some.
Eileen is so sweet. The food and dessert was delicious. We arrived late Sunday night and was directed to Newport Cafe for food (yes we recommend stopping by there for their super burger- yum!) and also directed to Nana's pub. both great recommendations.
Perk: we got free Wi-Fi but it only worked in the master room.
We definitely recommend staying here..and will be returning for our next vacation.

My fiancee and I stayed one night at the Grand Victorian and wished we could have stayed longer! We were greeted by Eileen and her delicious fresh-baked cookies! The house is spectacular-beautiful dark wood floors, fireplace, spiral staircase and even a jacuzzi tub in our bedroom! It was very clean and comfortable. Eileen gave us a tour of the B&B, told us to help ourselves to the cookies and ice cream in the freezer and took our order for breakfast. When you stay at the Grand Victorian you have your own key into the house, which is always locked to ensure guest privacy/safety. After a good nights sleep, we woke up to the smells of a home-cooked breakfast. The table was set when we went downstairs and Eileen served us a delicious meal of french toast, eggs (cooked to order), bacon (baked in the oven), hashbrowns, orange juice and coffee/tea. It was DELICIOUS! Eileen was very easy to talk to and her husband, Terry, was very nice! We only wish we spent more time at The Grand Victorian! Thank you Eileen and Terry!

My wife and I looked at many places - decided to come here for the third floor suite. It was booked and we were talked into the cottage on the property. Are we ever happy the suite was booked. It is a cottage filled with plants and books and antiques - feels like your own place while you are staying. The food is incredible and having a kitchen to cook our own meals was also a plus. The ocean is a half a block away - you can see it from the front porch and living room. We sat and sipped wine and listened to Mozart and watched the waves come in. Great place to loose all your worries and stress. So happy we came here!!!
