as much as I love the beer I wish I could say the same for the food and service. The food was mediocre but passable. The service, on the other hand was terrible. I sat for 20 minutes with an empty glass and never got a refill. It's a brew-pub, you would think they would at least keep your glass full. We ended up having to ask other random servers for things because ours was a ghost. My advice: get a growler to go and go to a real restaurant to eat.

The service and food both bad. They seem to not care about customer service. The food is pretty nasty. Be careful with your belonging, if you should leave something at the table by mistake you will never see it again and the rude employees, manager and owner could not care less. They are to quote " not babysitters" If you are looking for great food and great service walk a few doors down to NOODLE CAFE. you won't be disappointed.

It was a drunk and rowdy crowd at the bar the night we were there, so we sat by the window in the front. BUT IT IS ABOUT THE BEER, FOLKS! Rogue's Chipotle Ale is so freakin' good that I can barely contain myself! Then I ordered their Kobe beef burger with local blue cheese atop...along with one of Rogue's American Amber Ales! OMG, people!!! Long live Rogue Ales!

Good beer, if you can get one. food is not waiting for. Then the bill comes and it might be correct if you get over the sticker shock. Great local appeal, just ask the guys at the end of the bar that get their order. Go to the brewery it's better service ,but still expensive, at least you don't have to be a local to get a beer.
We found numerous places that serve their beer around town for less money and better service.
Try Nana's instead

There are TWO Rogue venues in Newport. The public house (on the North Side of the bridge) and the Brewery/Pub/Restaurant. The brewery is on the South side of the bridge, a stone's throw from La Quinta hotel. Take the last right before you get to the bridge (if you're heading North on the main bridge road) and then follow the signs for the brewery. The AMAZING bar and restaurant is tucked away INSIDE the brewery. The entrance is the huge red Rogue cylinder thing! Great beer and food and it has one of the best views you could ever hope for whilst chowing down or enjoying the INCREDIBLE range of beers.
