“Nice little lighthouse open to visitors”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

Nice display of period items from the lighthouse keeper's family. The Master Gardeners have a lovely little kitchen garden they maintain behind the house. You can access the beach from the parking lot.

“Beautiful and Educational!”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

After driving up to a fairly empty parking lot and wondering what a $7 fee would get us, we stepped into the visitor center and were instantly greeted by a friendly, well educated person who urged us to explore the center then head to the lighthouse and other places in the area. We are so glad we did it!

“Re-visited after many years!”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

It's still a great place to visit...see what life was like in a lighthouse many, many years ago. All the volunteers are excellent. Have good info and couldn't be more gracious! Enjoy!

“Great little pitstop.”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

Visited for 30 minutes or so and it was interesting and most of all free! Check out the video presentation and learn about the lighthouse. A must see if you have the time.

“Historical Lighthouse, don't miss it!”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

This cute little lighthouse is one not to be missed. With a few easy steps you are on top of the hill with a most magnificent view of the ocean, beaches, and a picture perfect lighthouse. Once inside you will find all of the rooms as they may have looked long ago, very well done. You can even see a framed picture hanging in the living room area that is made from human hair, strange but apparently a past time from long ago. The quaint little gift shop in the basement is fun. Behind the lighthouse is a picnic table and modern bathrooms, a good place to take a break to have a little snack and enjoy the sea breeze!
