A word to the wise: Even numbered rooms face the parking lot, odd numbered rooms face the salal and spruce. Lower numbered rooms are closer to the highway (and are closer to the pool), higher numbered rooms are away from the highway.

Upon checkin, we were given a room with a clogged sink and some crusty white substance on the blanket. The front desk clerk was extremely nice about it and upgraded us to a suite. Said suite was still dirty, but there's not a lot you can complain about for $58 a night.

This place is within walking distance to the Rogue Brewery and that weird little outdoor mall development, in case you're interested. The pool is open 24/7, which was actually my favorite aspect of this property. Good continental breakfast with waffles, but way too crowded for me on a tuesday morning. Next time i go to newport, i think i'll shell out some more bucks and go for one of the higher end places.

We loved this large hotel - it's conveniently located but a little off the highway, so it's quiet. It was full of families with kids but it didn't feel crowded and it was very clean. There was a laundry room and our room was clean and new - very impressive. Breakfast was standard continental but good, with decent choices. I'd readily recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Newport - wish I could stay there for the rest of my vacation!

We found this to be a perfectly adequate place to stay. The room was above average in size, very clean, and the staff was pleasant and professional. The common areas were clean and quite nice.

It was a little loud, but not too bad considering that it was spring break and there were children everywhere (seemingly unsupervised by their parents).

I'd recommend this hotel.

This hotel is on the south side of the bridge in Newport, so it's a little difficult to walk to the main parts of town. We did not have a suite, just a regular room with 2 QB and a rollaway. Everything was adequate but always a little short of being nice. Front desk personnel was helpful, but not too smiling. Standard breakfast with waffle maker.
