Cute little street with many restaurants and shops lining the (seafood) processing buildings. Some bars have live music on the weekends.

Been here twice so far and so nice to stroll. Don't miss the sea lions barking on their dock and the glass store!

A visit to Bayfront and then took pictures of the Yakuina Bay Bridge at sunset. The Bayfront is better than you will find in most communities as it is a mixture of commercial and pedestrian businesses. Plenty of places to eat a variety of food and gift shops at all levels. A few art stores are mixed in to get your attention. It is interesting to see the old architecture and the different types of commercial fishing boats. Sea lions barking in the background add to the flavor of this neat little place.

Lots of restaurants and boutiques, and lots of activity with boats coming in with their catch, fishermen cleaning their fish and selling them to customers, huge seals lying in the sun. One of the highlights of our trip.

We enjoy the Bayfront when we visit Newport. Nice area to walk, eat, get the coastal flair. Working factories and cannery can be a bit pungent but great views of working marina including sealions. Like the variety of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Family, couple, there is something for everyone in this wonderful little strip of Newport.
