“Don't go on Tuesday or Wednesday!”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

Great shopping and eatin. My teenager was really excited to go to the wax museum and Riley's, but they are both close on Tuesday and Wednesday during winter. The only two days we were in town.

“kind of kitschy”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

Every year a group of us ladies who lunch hit the Newport Bayfront. One of our favorite shops, the Cat House closed a few years ago, but the owner kept his kitchen shop open. Sadly for us he is retiring and closing the kitchen shop. There are other fun and interesting places to pop into and you can easily waste a few hours here. Lots of places to eat and buy fresh local seafood.

“Harbor at work”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

WE enjoyed watching the fishing boats come in and unload their fish at the fish processors. You can also walk around and see the many shops. A good meal at the Original Mo's is also a part of any visit to Newport's Bayfront.

“Shrug”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

I had greater hopes for the Bayfront but it may still be a work in progress. They need to work on their parking problem. It felt a little like you weren't welcome. Nice shops that haven't heard about the bad economy. Very overpriced!! Shopkeepers could have cared less whether we were there or not. Didn't spend a dime.

“Been twice will go again”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

It is neat to see all the boats tied up at harbor. Cool to cross the neo-classical bridge, It is definitely someplace I want to visit again...unless their is a tsunami.
