“Saved The Best For Last”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

Ripley's is the best of the 3 tourist traps on the Bayfront and after a long lunch and shopping break it was the last of the 3 visited. Unlike the Wax Works and Undersea Gardens I would say this was worth it's third of the combo pack. Have never being in a Ripley's I wasn't sure what to expect other than strange stuff and it did not disappoint. There is a video of Mr. Ripley at the beginning but it's hard to watch when there are lot of rowdy kids nearby. A lot of strange exhibits and posters depicting people and things with weird attributes make up a lot of the museum. A lot of clips from the TV show with Dean Cain and a little theater make up most of the video entertainment. The main highlights one can experience are a dance wall with awesome patterns while one dances, an Egypt room with mirrors that can be confusing to go through, and another confusing room with a lot of stars. It ends at the gift shop it shares with the Wax Works. It was a fun way to end a rainy day. It makes me want to visit another Ripley's if I am near one.

“Small Ripley's with some local highlights”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

This Ripley's location is small by Ripley's standards. Very few exhibits to touch or interact with, it is an adequate diversion for an hour with kids on a rainy day, but I would not head here as a destination. There is a nice video about St. Helen's and a decent diorama with Lewis, Clark, and Sacajawea as well as some local interests like DB Cooper, Sasquatch, and Oregon loggers. Much of the cool things one might associate with Ripley's are just models or videos, which is a little disappointing.

The attraction dumps you out in the same junk shop as the Wax Museum and appears to operate as a team.

If you buy tickets, consider a group attraction ticket. I think prices were around $14 for an adult to see this, not worth that. There is a group attraction ticket for the wax museum, Ripley's, and Undersea Gardens that might be a better bargain. It took about 2 hours to do all three attractions, have an ice cream, and visit the sea lions at the dock.

“a short morning activity for the kids”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

We bought the 3 attraction package which also included the Wax Museum and Undersea Garden, and kids under 12 are little cheaper. We received a book for Ripley's and the Undersea Garden.

Ripley's is the best of the 3 attractions. I thought that there would have been more stories and artifacts to see, but this is a pretty small location.

We took our time walking through to enjoy every section.
