“Tyee Lodge 1 Night Stay”

We could not have asked for better service or location! The hosts are both very nice, and the amenities are fantastic. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine to go down and enjoy on the beach. We stayed in the Chinook room, which had an exceptional view of the coast. The food was also fantastic. For the current rate, this B&B is a steal!

Room Tip: Chinook has the best view.

This is a wonderful B & B! We loved our room and the view, through the trees, of the ocean. The breakfast was special and delicious. The hosts were very helpful about where to eat and what to see in the area.

Room Tip: They will show you each room that is available and let you choose. Ours had a nice fireplace.

We stayed at Tyee Lodge one night in mid March. Though we weren't there long, Dee and Doug were kind hosts, making us feel very much at home without being intrusive. They offered excellent restaurant advice (Local Ocean) and other useful suggestions for local sights. If you're looking for a quiet, a bit out-of-the-way place in a lovely setting, this is an excellent choice.

Room Tip: All rooms are equally nice, though some may be a bit larger than others.

I stayed at the Tyee lodge with my 17 year old daughter in 2014 while travelling up the Oregon coast. It was a perfect stay, despite arriving just as a big storm was blowing in. The rooms are very comfortable, with a fireplace and two cosy chairs in each. I pulled a chair to the window (gorgeous beach and coast view), clicked on the heat, fixed a tea, pulled out my novel and watched the weather develop outside - fantastic! A short walk down the hill on the lodge path takes you to Agate Beach which was wide open and gorgeous. The living area guests are invited to use was very nice, with coffee, tea and cookies and wine in the evenings. Breakfast was awesome, all sitting down at 8:30, and it was fun to find out what the other guests were up to. The price was very reasonable - I can't wait to go back again.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great, and very similar - we peeked in several during our visit.

Dee and Doug have made this bed and breakfast one of the best. The food, including fresh baked cookies, was wonderful. The bedding was excellent and nothing beats hearing the surf and having an ocean view. Dee and Doug offer great suggestions as to what to do, walk on aged beach was my favorite, and places to eat, Bay 839. Very relaxing, great wifi, but no TV, which was wonderful. We have already started to recommend this place and will continue to do so.

Dee the owner and hostess was very nice and helpful. She made our stay very nice and enjoyable. Our room was facing the water and the view was looking at the ocean and the sunsets were very nice. Our room was more then we had expected and a bargain for the price. We had not one complaint about our stay of two days. We,ll go back as we are able. Thanks to Dee and her housekeeper. First class all the way.

Room Tip: All rooms face the ocean, so you get the sunsets.

Accidentally stumbled upon Tyee Lodge while driving down Oregon coast. How lucky can you get? The introductory wine/beer service was greatly appreciated as we took our choice of rooms available during the down season of December. Rooms were immaculate and beautiful with a big window onto the distant beach. Dee gave us excellent advice about evening meal at Local Ocean Seafood during the first two weeks of Dungeness crab season. Next morning, we had an excellent breakfast and, while talking with Dee, we started planning a family reunion for next August. Looking forward to the return.

Room Tip: Rooms are all about the same on the second floor of the house. Bathrooms are identical. First two ro...

Thank you so much for your kind words. We enjoyed meeting you both and are thrilled that you stumbled upon our B&B. When you return for your reunion festivities you will notice that we have renovated the bathrooms each with unique vessel bowls, stone counter tops & floors, and fun new accents.
