This restaurant was recommended to us by a man we met at the Celtic Festival. We have eaten there twice now and have enjoyed it both times. The food is very good and reasonably priced and their "Happy Hour" seems very popular. Free snacks and great prices on beer. I had the cod and chips the first time and my husband ordered the steak, mushroom and ale pot pie. Both delicious! On our second visit I had the cod sandwich which came with fries and coleslaw. He had the chicken pot pie and although he said he preferred the steak pie he had the first time, it was still very good. The help staff are excellent here and you can eat inside or out in the front of the restaurant. If you come here on weekends, be sure to make reservations ahead of time as the place gets packed. Be prepared to wait in line for the toilet as I believe there are only two on the premises.
