“Excellent food; large portions!”
Reviewed September 17, 2008

There are about half a dozen Chinese restaurants in Newport and this one is the local favorite! Known for good, fresh food and large portions - you will be using the take-home containers.

My favorite dinner is #2 with choice of 2 soups, 4 large breaded shrimp, sweet and sour chicken or pork, chicken subgum or chicken chow mein, and fried rice.

You can always swap out items for usually only $1 more.

My friend always gets big bowls of noodle soup with any combination of meats and veggies. They also have sizzling platters. They can do the peking duck too.

The luncheon specials are served until 3pm and cost $5.95. I like Chicken and Vegetables which is plentiful on the chicken, snow peas, water chestnuts, bok choy, broccoli, celery...Yum!

Try this place! It's opposite JC Market on Highway 101, just north of the Shell gas station.

“Prepare for large portions at this locals' favorite”
Reviewed September 8, 2008

Locally owned, this is "down-home cookin" . . . Chinese style!

Totally unpretentious, Lee's Wok is well known for their very large portions, moderate prices and fresh food. We eat here quite often, order several dishes, and always take enough home for two more meals.

They moved into a brand new building early in 2008, but the decor is still very simple. Service is usually good and they happily accomodate special requests if possible. (We always order the Orange Chicken without hot oil, for example.)

The menu is very extensive and includes combination platters, house specials, family style dinners, "light" dishes and a few American favorites. For those who like it hot, they serve Szechuan, Hunan, Yu Hsiang and Kung Po specialties. I consider their Chow Fun rice noodles to be the best I've ever had, anywhere! They do not use MSG in anything.

Unlimited tea is included with everything, and they also serve soft drinks, beer and wine.

“No surprises---good or bad.”
Reviewed August 18, 2008

Standard Chinese American served hot, plentiful, and fairly priced. Pretty good zucchini beef, mongolian chicken and sweet and sour pork. Dinner for 3 would serve four. Nothing special, but no disappointments either.

“Fast cheap clean... perfect”
Reviewed June 23, 2008

Lunch specials starting at less that 6$! And the lounge has real recliners. This place is a little strange but very comfy.
