“Adventure, education and fun!!”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

We took our 2 year old and 7 year old here. The whole family enjoyed it. What a thrill to see sea creatures up close and to even touch some. It inspired our children to want to visit the "real" tide pools which we did afterward and it was 10x more exciting because of what they had learned and experienced at the Aquarium. The volunteers and staff at the Aquarium are awesome! Thank you for a great experience.

“Great aquarium for a smaller city”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

A very nice aquarium with lots of cool exhibits. The outside part is neat in that it emulates the rocks and coves of the Oregon Coast where you can see otters. sea lions and octopus. The Passages of the Deep is a well done underwater tunnel exhibit where you see local coastal fish as well as deep sea rays and sharks.

We did the behind the scenes tour as well, which was interesting to see how much time and effort goes into the care of the animals.

We all enjoyed it. The aquarium was done really well. Neat things to see. The touch pool was great! You could spend around 2 hours in there.

“Great stop for a few hours to Get a feel for local sea life.”

Educational for th kids and entertaining for all. Be sure to get there by early afternoon if you want to watch any sea otter or seal feelings. Pretty good value. Definitely worth the money and good for a few hours.
