“This was a dream!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2009

After travelling from the east coast to the west coast I went straight to downtown Portland to site see. When we were done for the day, I was exhausted and worried if I would have the energy for the rest of the trip! We went to the Dream Giver’s Inn and as soon as we walked in, I felt relaxed! Linda was so gracious and helpful and I slept like a baby! The bedroom had a big window seat which overlooked the vineyard and it was beautiful. I didn’t want to leave. I would recommend Dream Giver’s Inn and I plan on staying there again when I visit. I can’t wait!

The Dreamgivers Inn is an incredibly serene and romantic B&B. Having stayed at B&B’s in the States, Spain & Italy, we felt like the Dreamgivers Inn was by far the most comfortable (love the linens)! The rooms are decorated nicely, are well-appointed, and there is plenty of privacy.
We came to tour the vineyards, but would have been just as comfortable curling up fireside with a good book, nice glass of wine and staying indoors. There are many fabulous wineries in close proximity and the Inn Keeper, Linda, has several great suggestions for tours, tastings and restaurants.
We were not planning on breakfast at the Inn but with short notice Linda produced a delicious salmon scramble! A great way to start our morning and we really appreciated how she incorporated local ingredients and style into the meal. We would/do highly recommend Dreamgivers Inn and look forward to returning in the near future. Visitors from the Windy City!

I've stayed at the Dream Givers inn twice now---and I look forward to my time there with girlfriends each year. The Inn is not frufru fluffy. It's well appointed and each room is tastefully and thoughtfully put together. The owners have a great eye for creating an incredibly warm and inviting atmosphere. Linda is a wonderful hostess and her carmel appel german pancakes and egg soufle's are fantastic! It's such a wonderful place to get away, let down, get some perspective and go back out into life again. So restful and beautiful! i can't wait to go back!

We stayed here two nights in July and had the best stay. We were fortunate in that we had the entire house to ourselves which made it ever better. Linda was an absolutely wonderful hostess! She gave us so many great recommendations on wineries and dining, and made us feel so welcomed. Her breakfasts were fantastic as well. The home was remodeled and decorated so beautifully and also comfortable. We stayed in the Courage Room, which was very nice and had a good size bathroom. The location is also very peaceful and beautiful.

My spouse and I stayed at the DreamGiver's B&B while touring the wine country and we couldn't have chosen a better place. It was truly a Dream Come True! The B&B is very well kept, charming, warm, romantic, and has a great view looking out over the vineyards and farms. Linda, the Innkeeper, made us feel right at home and served an exellent breakfast in the morning. I would disregard the other review of too much "Christianity". There were a few items but nothing that we would consider even close to excessive.

We only wish we could have stayed longer!

The accomodation was very good and the welcome and breakfasts were excellent. This B&B is in a good location and wonderfully quiet at night, with deer on the front drive both late and early.

Our only misgiving was the very obvious Christianity, with framed scripture quotes in many places and Christian books everywhere. Nothing was pushed at us but, as non-believers, we were a little uncomfortable with this.

But, most importantly, we'd happily stay there again, especially for the Creme Brulee French Toast with Caramelised Pears!

We loved the Dreamgivery's Inn for its location in beautiful hills of Oregon. We wanted to go wine tasting in the area and it was well suited for this. One would have to have a car to get there and around.

The host was gracious and loving. The food was average, and there was lots of it.

The grounds are lovely and will be even more so as they continue to plant beautiful trees and flowers on their large acreage. It will only get better is our guess.

  • Liked — location and beauty of the surroundings
  • Disliked — bathroom was too small.
