The cooking was amazing and the pairings with Brickhouse wines were perfectly matched. This will be a regular event for us. The accommodations are wonderful and the breakfast is superb. Highly recommend scheduling an event stay. Andy and Lea insure that you will not be disappointed.

The first thing to realize is that this is not an inn, as the name implies, but a bed and breakfast. As such, you will get an angry phone call if you don't check in by 6:00 pm, even though you're paying $350 a night and they've already charged your credit card two weeks before. With an inn, I expect to be able to show up when I want and have someone there. With the exception of breakfast and between 4:00 and 6:00 pm (and then only if someone is checking in), you should not expect to be able to get any service. the name really should be changed since it is inaccurate.

We stayed in Mountain. The room was fine, but pretty standard (even for places at lower price points than what they charge here). Good wifi, which was appreciated since we were both staying connected during this vacation. We did use the hottub one night and it is big enough for two to soak. Not having a way to get music outside was a miss - one of the portable clock radio/iPod players would have been a better choice than the stationary one.

The property, while nice enough, wasn't especially well located for the wineries that we wanted to visit, and restaurants aren't especially close. Breakfast each morning was excellent and plenty of food. There is only one option, so make sure to discuss dietary restrictions in advance. Good tea selection in addition to coffee. Instead of bottled water, a reusable carafe is filled with filtered water and provided in a mini-fridge.

Probably would not stay here again.

Our country is diverse and there are many regional differences. The term 'inn' is one of these. In our region, bed and breakfasts very commonly use this term - as a matter of fact - most of the higher quality bed and breakfasts in the Willamette do! Our website clearly states on the front page, first line, that we are a bed and breakfast and we are listed in this category in all the directories and other websites. As a bed and breakfast, we are not staffed with a front desk or concierge 24 hr/day. The inn, is in fact, our home and run by my husband and myself. This guest should probably choose larger fully staffed hotels in the future if this flexibility is desired.

We, however, do strive to accommodate alternative check-in times and as evidenced by other reviewers - do this happily and graciously. We are available to our guests from morning until night via the inn phone number if they do not visibly see us. We offer each guest privacy and the ability to enjoy our property and strive to not be obtrusive to this end.

We promote a tranquil and relaxing environment for all guests of the inn. Playing music on one's terrace is not really in our philosophy as it would disturb adjacent guests trying to enjoy the view and surroundings.

As far as location, we are within a 10 minute drive of over 75 of the finest wineries in the Willamette valley. We are located 3 miles from Newberg, 5 from Dundee and 8 from Carlton - all centers of wonderful dining options. Our location has only be lauded by all other reviewers as perfect for visiting wineries and dining out.

We value each guests' experience and know how precious vacations are. To this end, we strive to make all of our guests' stays memorable and exceed expectations and are saddened that we did not accomplish that with our guests here from Chapel Hill. Our sincere apologies!

Stayed here for a girls' weekend, used three of the stunning rooms. Everything was perfect...the grounds, every nook of the gorgeous in, the rooms, the views... Lee and Andy could not have been nicer or more accommodating, and the breakfasts were amazing! We loved the detached lounge area where we could be up late at night, laughing and loud, without disturbing any of the other guests. Sunrise mornings reading on the balcony or private patio were special ways to start the day in beautiful Willamette Valley wine country. If I ever go back to that part of the country, I will stay at Le Puy, no question!

There is so much to rave about at Le Puy it is hard to keep this review a reasonable length. Lea and Andy have put their hearts and souls into making this a very special place to stay. Their attention to detail is noticeable everywhere whether it be in the guest rooms, the common areas or the beautifully landscaped grounds.

When walking in the entry way door, there is an immediate impression of being welcomed into a lovely, spacious private home. The great room has a comfortable seating area with a wood-burning fireplace. Adjoining it is an outside seating area where one can relax and enjoy the view. The beautifully appointed guest rooms are located in various areas of the main house. The Loire room is separated from the main house by a breezeway and is designed for more casual relaxing such as watching television on a big screen. They have thought of everything including coffee, tea, popcorn, games and movies to make the Loire room complete. We went there several evenings after dinner at a local restaurant to relax with a cup of mint tea.

Breakfast is scheduled for the convenience of the guests which is not always the case at many B&B's. Coffee, tea, fruit, a freshly baked treat, granola and yogurt are laid out on the buffet in the great room at 7:30am. Lea and Andy prepare and serve a hot gourmet breakfast anytime between 9am & 11am. This works perfectly for those who have a busy day of activities planned and those who relish the chance to sleep an extra hour or two.

Lea was most gracious in helping us plan our activities. The wineries, restaurants and even a drive to the coast on a beautiful sunny day were just what we were looking for to make our stay in the area enjoyable.

Le Puy has the feel of an elegant country inn rather than a traditional bed and breakfast. Would we return for another visit? The answer is yes as we have been spoiled!

A perfect getaway. The room (Heaven) was relaxing, the soaking tub was great and the little touches were done just right. The inn is in a great location, close to all of the wineries and restaurants. Delicious breakfasts each morning, and the owners made recommendations for dinner. It felt very private even though all the other rooms at the inn were occupied. Would definitely return.

Room Tip: The Heaven room was great - gas fire place, sitting area, terrace, great shower and soaking tub

We stayed here 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The rooms were inviting, clean and comfortable. For a couple looking for relaxation, it was peaceful to hear the babbling fountain outside from our upstairs room at night. Downstairs there is a large open area with a working wood-burning fireplace. In the morning, they have small nibbles to start along with coffee, tea and juice - all this before they prepare a large gourmet breakfast for you! Make sure to take advantage of their terrace outside. Enjoy the views of the surrounding hills all around while you sip on your morning drink. We traveled there in the Spring - I can only imagine what this looks like during the Fall. Lea and Andy are a wonderful couple - they will make sure you are taken care of during your stay, and go out of their way to use their contacts in the surrounding areas to check availability for wine visits and dinner reservations.

This was a surprise trip my husband planned to celebrate my 40th birthday, and it was the most exquisite surprise! The inn is beautiful and our room, Mountain, was absolutely wonderful. Lea helped to plan the daily activities and Andy's breakfasts were perfect. So thankful to have celebrated here and look forward to coming back! I'd recommend Lea's hikes to anyone who loves to exercise and loves wine :)
