Jory is a very good restaurant. If you stay at the Allison Inn, you ought to eat there. But it is good enough that you should eat there even if you are not staying there.
If it is warm, eat outside. Tables are spaced well, so that you will have privacy. You'll also have a pleasant view. Inside is nice as well -- you can eat at a table, and there are also seats at the kitchen bar.
Service was attentive, efficient, but not rushed. Food came at a nice pace, but one easily could linger. The menu is small, but you can also order off of the bar menu, which adds a few more options. Portions were nice -- not huge, but also not tiny. The food was fresh and local -- great combinations, great flavors.
The wine list is very nice. There are also lots of selections by the glass, and a few wine flights. If you want to drink a bottle you brought with you -- or bought earlier in the day -- they appear to make it easy to do so.
All in all, a lovely, yummy, romantic place. Not cheap, but not as expensive as you would think for excellent unfussy resort food, and definitely not an expense that you will regret.

Terrific food @ NYC prices but that is fine by me as long as you get the "benefit of your bargain," and at Jory you do! Everything we had was great! Strongly suggest sitting @ the "counter" and watching the progress. The wood fired grill is cranking and chefs Clayton & Travis move smoothly and entertain friendly all night. Of course Chef Jin watches all like a hawk, even while seeming relaxed and engaging. One night we saw a huge bin of chanterelle mushrooms being put away for the night and Clayton told us Chef's wife had foraged something like 5 bags of them from a secret spot in the woods nearby. Can you get more farm to table? I sure hope the resto paid her the going rate for those outrageous delectables. Service is attentive and careful. Tell or ask the waitstaff, or Chef Jin, or Clayton or Travis (I still say they need their own NASCAR team), what you want or what they suggest or what you feel like, and they will not steer you wrong!

Traveling through the Oregon wine country we decided to stop here for lunch. It's a bit pricey, but the meals were great, the chef was awesome and we will definite stop again. The grounds are beautiful.

I have had lunch here twice and the service is great. The menu is fairly limited at lunch and it is expensive for the area. The Allison Inn and the Jory are worth trying just to see what it is like, but it will not become one of my regular spots to take friends due to the pricing structure for somewhat average tasting food. In fairness, I have not tried dinner so that could change things for a person I suppose.
