“Truely exceptional!”

We stopped here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised by everything we ordered. The lamb stew was decadently good although it was the special and I'm not sure if its always available. The Soda bread, and spinach salad were a wonderful meal all in themselves! Definitely worth coming back!

“A true foodie destination”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2013

Terrific seafood; nearly everything is locally sourced. Menu is limited because the chef only uses fresh (seasonal) ingredients, and seems to prefer to cook a few things really well rather than provide an extensive array of items. Definitely worth going out of your way to visit.

we were here about 3 years ago, loved it - an oyster/beer bar -was looking forward to coming back this year. Upgrade to the building is nice and I guess even the "upgraded" menu selections were ok, just not what I expected. Never expected Tobasco sauce not to be available with raw oysters, never dreamed of being offered an old 3/4 empty quart bottle of Tapatio hot sauce as a substitute which I will blame on causing a somewhat rancid flavor to the oysters.

“A Pearl!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

Take this exquisitely prepared food, serve it at any restaurant in the Pearl District in NW Portland, and the restaurant would instantly become top rated. But then Netarts, Oregon isn't the Pearl and that is fine with me....

“Pretty good bar food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2013

We read the reviews about the terrible service but fortunately there were very few others dining so the service was quite good. The clam chowder is quite good and very chunky. My wife ordered Coconut Shrimp which she said was good but the dipping sauce was way too hot for her. She was able to get some sweet chili sauce that she liked. I ordered steamers which had a lot more garlic than I've ever encountered, but I got used to it. We ordered just appetizers and both were very generous servings.
