Wide selection of German food in a very cozy atmosphere. A bit pricy for my tastes but it was my son's 19th birthday so we were willing to pay. Love the clock tower. Good service, clean.

Excellent food in an informal atmosphere. A menu based local products and a German style. The lunch Menu includes IMO the finest Hamburger and fries in the area. It also serves the best Fish and Chips outside of the coast. My wife a fan of Soups rates theirs the best. Dinner menu is a bit more elaborate with daily specials. Wait staff is attentive and friendly For many they have a fine selection on Tap German Beers. My favorite eating establishment in the Vally. We dine their often for Lunch and Dinner for special occasions.

We found the Glockenspiel on an outing to the Mount Angel Abbey. We were drawn by the 1:00 "appearance" of the glockenspiel bell tower. It was quite an attraction, as about 30 people stopped along the street to watch the 10 minute "show." Our lunch in the restaurant was very good. The service was a little scattered, with three or four different people serving us at various times of the meal. But that was fine. The food was good (Friday fish and chips, and a reuben sandwich) and priced comparable to other establishments we had seen in the area. We would eat here again on another trip to the area.

We had dinner at The Glockenspiel and thought it was wonderful from appetizer to dessert. The restaurant was full of old world charm and immacuately clean. The wait staff was perfectly attentive and knowledgeable about the fare they serve. The ample portions of food provided for a second meal at home for each of us. We will certainly be returning.
