Roxy Ann’s barn and occasional events are inviting. However, their wines are the same today as they were years ago. No innovative thinking going on here.

We rate wineries by how much we enjoy the setting and the sommelier as we do by how much we like the wine.

RoxyAnn missed on both factors. On the outside, RoxyAnn looks like the historic farm it must be. Pretty. The inside of the tasting room, however, leaves a bit to be desired. The tasting room appears to be where locals go to hang out, kind of like the neighborhood tavern. There's nothing wrong with a bunch of friendly folk, but the server ends up chatting up the locals instead of explaining the wines and winery to customers there to learn about the wine. "This is our pinot gris . . . This is our Cab" is all you get.

Heard about this place from local friends. Tasting room is a former barn, and they did a commendable job maintaining the character while creating a neat space. Excellent selection of wines made from locally grown grapes. Appropriately friendly staff which is very knowledgable about their product, plus a modest kitchen that will provide charcuterie and Brenda’s (tasting room manager) personally-prepared soup of the day. They should definitely keep her. The wine is quite good (their ‘Claret’ is a signature product.) Live music and food trucks on Friday evenings, so we will return!

RoxyAnn is very popular with locals- wedding, parties and special events are held there and for good reason. Charming and well appointed building, Great ambience and the wine is fabulous! Have been to wine tastings- some weddings there a- nd have never been disappointed.

We went to RoxyAnn Winery after a long morning and afternoon of mountain driving. What a relaxing atmosphere and tasting experience! Thank you, Eddie. We really enjoyed the tastings and the antipasti plate you prepared for us!

The staff at RoxyAnn really make you feel at ease and so welcoming! Kudo's to every single one of them!
Highly enjoyable wine! My favorite use to be the Pinot Gris, but now I have to say I love their Viognier! My husband is especially fond of their Honor Barn Red, and the Claret along with the Cab.
They also have a selection of bottled beers, soft drinks, baguettes, salami's, cheese's for sale, or they can make you up a nice fruit and cheese platter.
Music by local bands is usually played there on Wed. & Friday nights, and in the summer, they play outside.
This is a very popular winery, especially with alot of the locals from this valley. Getting more and more crowded these days, but such a great place to go to.

We’ve stopped in a couple of times, mostly to buy wine (their Claret is very good). Usually the place is packed full of people and it is VERY loud... more like a bar scene.

If you’re going, call ahead to see what the crowd situation may be like.

It was packed. On some days they have live music and invite a local food cart to provide food. The food cart this night was Vietnamese with three options.. all very good. Totally packed. Very very noisy and crowded.. one could not visit with table companions. If this is the scene you want this will suit you. I prefer a less loud option so that one can visit with table mates..

This winery was a few miles away from our hotel in Ashland, and came recommended by a restaurant we had just had had lunch.

The tasting room was full of boxes, and lacked ambiance.

Our tasting host lacked knowledge, and presenting the wines was probably the last thing she wanted to do.

Having travelled well through the wine regions of the world, this was a very poor show in comparison.

Seriously give this a miss, and certainly not with the $7 tasting fee.
