We arrived at the Buttercloud Bakery at about 2:00 0n a Saturday afternoon. They close at 3:00. By then, most of their signature dishes were sold out. I ended up getting a glorified egg McMuffin. It was excellent, but not very big. At nearly $6.00, I thought that was rather expensive. It came with a slice of orange. Side dishes (which were already sold out) were and extra $2.50. My husband had the last order of pulled pork sandwich (on a biscuit, as are all the sandwiches), which he enjoyed, but it again was small and expensive. I went back for a piece of cake, but it sold out before I got there. I settled on an Oatmeal cookie. It was good, but no cake. It was a rather disappointing experience. The waiter was congratulating himself in that they planned so well and didn't have left overs. What he didn't take into consideration, is that we probably won't be back, so their "close planning" cost them customers.
