Went for an early dinner and had the scrumptious pan seared scallops with a decadent bacon, Gorgonzola sauce. My wife had the eggplant parmesan with a pesto pasta, all very good. Nice selection of beers on tap and a very good red wine on tap. The atmosphere is kinda dumpy in full daylight but I imagine it would be pretty neat at night with live music which they have regularly, as the main seating area has a very high ceiling. There is also a loft dining area. Probably makes for a good nightclub.

None of the wine we tried to order was in stock. Food was
ordinary. Won't be back.

Went to Rosso's for dinner with a party of 6. Wanted to check it out and support a local business. Overall- a disappointing experience. First, the place itself was more "warehouse" than intimate. Candles on the tables - how hard is that? There were none. Entrees came with a small, unremarkable salad but with lots of interesting dressing choices. The dinners were flavorful enough as I would expect given the menu prices that started at $16. The service was adequate. I like casual and friendly service but our waitress kept responding "You got it" to every request we made. That is until someone ordered spaghetti and meatballs. She had to return to our table to say they were out of meatballs. No meatballs? Hello...although we were charged for them as if they weren't MIA. Sadly, the case of the missing meatballs; some plated pasta that was warm at best ; the 5 minute late arrival of one of our entrees; mediocre (although sincere) wait service, and the fact that this "trattoria" turns into a hip-hop disco at 9pm left us all agreeing, " We came, we ate, we won't be back".

Another go-to lunch place. Their soups are superb. If you are going there for lunch, go early or late. They are always full. The tomato bisque and the mushroom soup are outstanding.

Our dinner group patronized this restaurant a couple of nights ago, and were just about the only people in the place. I can understand why. The food was very ordinary, just one step above fast food places. The tomato basil soup was ok, but the pasta was blah with the sauce appearing to be out of a can. The best thing I can say about this place is the service was excellent. This might be acceptable as a quick lunch stop when one is in a hurry, but beyond that I can't recommend it.
