“Popular Alpine Lake”

Really nice bike trail that goes around the lake. About 11 miles and paved almost the entire length. However, this time of year the mosquitos are brutal. Bring repellent! Too many campers for my taste as well. Very high density spots. Good for fishing, not so good for trying to get away from it all...

“Bike trail and paddle boat rentals”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

We LOVE the paved bike trail that goes all the way around the lake, about 11 miles miles of heaven! It takes you along the shore of the lake, and then more into the woods, and back along the shore and above the shore. It is an easy to moderately challenging ride.

“Great views”

The food has gotten better in recent years. You cannot beat the views. Prices are fair and portions are enough.

“Pristine beauty”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

One of the many hidden gems in Oregon. Easy to find up the beautiful North Umpqua River Hwy. Stop at Diamond Lake on your way to Crater Lake Ntl. Park. Summer is nice time on Diamond Lake & winter draws the outdoor crowd for snow fun!

Between the Rogue Valley and Hwy 97, Diamond lake is a beautiful jewel of a lake. Friendly, uncrowded and the fishing is great.
