We recently traveled to Medford to white water raft with Rogue River Outfitters, Craig and Tina Hughson. 22 people (12 kids and 10 adults)! Craig and his crew, Johnny, Joey, Harry and Cliff were not only experienced guides but friendly, helpful and easy going. The equipment was new and clean. The tents, sleeping bags and locations that they selected for our group were secluded and beautiful. Craig's wife, Tina created an amazing menu for us for lunch and dinners every day. We HIGHLY recommend and would consider going back for another trip! Such an incredible experience for myself, my husband and our two boys. THANKS Craig and Tina!

You can't really go wrong. It doesn't matter where you visit along the Rogue River...you will be sure to find abundant wildlife and greenery. Destination on its own.

Great places to float and fish on this river. Many inlets to just hang out and relax. However if your down where the jet boats are they will splash you. Tons of fun

We stayed at Union creek resort and found out that almost right across from our cabin was the Rogue Gorge Viewpoint which joins on to other trails along the Rogue River.
The views were great, some are a little bit obstructed from branches, but there are areas where it's an open view.
There was a little bit of fall color already showing up along the river and it was really pretty.
This is a great place to stop off at for river views and river hikes.

The Rogue River is not really *in* Crater Lake NP, but it runs alongside Highway 62.

There are several places to stop and have a picnic or take a short walk. It's a lovely area.

Farther down, there are jet boats out of Grants Pass that tour the river.
