This is so perfect to get friends and family on hot day and spend a great day together. We have the best memories on this river, and it forces your teens to spend the day with you. Everyone enjoys these trips.

Rafting the Rogue is a great way to spend the day. Gorgeous scenery. Head up to Shady Cove and rent acraft from any of the companies. They drive you up river, let you off and you raft back down then they pick you up. Everything is supplied. Perfect for beginners, families, or people out to enjoy the outdoors in a relaxed way.

When you are on your way to Crater Lake, take the time to explore the Rogue River area. It has several small hikes.

The area is gorgeous. The colors are breath taking. It was not crowded so we stopped and took our time while looking around.

The Rogue River itself is lovely and clear, and it is surrounded by some absolutely beautiful country, very green! It's fun for rafting. But don't neglect the other rivers in the vicinity.
