I recently visited the R. Stuart tasting room in McMinnville, Oregon. What an awesome staff and what an awesome collection of wines. Their single vineyard Pinot Noirs are really phenomenal. The Big Fire Pinot Noir is also delicious and unbelievably affordable for the quality. If you are in the area, definitely stop on 3rd street for a tasting and a warm welcome.

My husband and I went to their wine bar in downtown McMinnville for a wine tasting and an afternoon snack. We did their mixed flight, but they were also very nice and let us try other wines above and beyond their set flight. We sat at the bar and both staff members were so nice and attentive. They got really busy and still made an extra effort to make sure we were taken care of. The wines were good and extremely reasonably priced. We loved their port wine. I'm usually not a port-drinker and their "un-port" was incredibly smooth and dangerously drinkable. Their 2009 Courting Hill was only $19 and nice and light. We also had their Gougeres (cheese puffs) and cheese plate. Both were excellent. They get their cheeses from a local dairy and the plate included their brie (awesome) and their parmesan-style sheep's milk cheese (incredible). And did I mention the staff was awesome? Keep up the great work guys! Highly recommend!

Hip, young, friendly hangout for wine sippers. Wines are reasonable and good.
