“Very fun!”

I went here for my birthday and it was fun! The whirlpools are great, the wave pool could use maybe a little bit more kick, and some of the slides hurt your back and send you through the dark. But over all, the kids LOVED it and one of them was trying to convince other other to go down a slide with her. The next thing I knew, that's all the timid one wanted to do! The food corner is only junk food, so eat healthy before, or bring a snack if you can. It was a blast!! For every one!

What a fabulous way to spend a day, the water park is just the beginning with all the Evergreen property has to offer. Riding a water slide that begins in a 747, wow ! The water park has many slides and cafes to choose from. And then there's the Space Museum and the Air Museum featuring the one and only Spruce Goose by Howard Hughes. Amazing Park with so much to keep you busy, the history of the Air Space museum with it's original space capsule's. An up nd coming Chapel on the property is to finished this summer and a Lodge soon to be finished in 2014, Evergreen is an up and coming Resort you must visit !!!

Here's an idea: Take a 747 jumbo jet, land it on top of a 4 story building, stick some water slides into it, and let people have a great time. This is a great and unique facility, with four long slides, each with its own personality, exiting from the belly of the 747. The long walk back to the top and the wave pool will pretty much guarantee that the kids will sleep on the way home, once they calm down. Entrance fee is pretty steep, but the food in the cafe is reasonable. There are areas for even the youngest water toddlers to play. And a jacuzzi for the adults. A great facility, next to a great museum. Go early when the lines are shortest and the pool the emptiest for the fastest turn times.

Although $30 may seem pricey at first, it is worth every penny. You can stay all day and the kids are very worn out from climbing those stairs. The lifeguard staff are very professional and enforce the rules which as a parent, I am very happy about. I saw a little girl fall over face first in the wave pool and the wave pushed her face about 6 feet across the concrete. Within seconds the lifeguards whisked her away into the first aid room. I was really impressed!! The only reason why I would not give them 5 stars is that I wish there would be a medium sized slide. They are either really big, or really small.

Another thing, the food at the concession stand is affordable which is so nice. However, you can bring your own lunch and eat it outside (you can't bring it in.) There are picnic tables in the back of the parking lot.
