Spent 2 nights there recently on a road trip through Willamette Valley on way up to Seattle. The inn is located a few miles west of McMinnville at the top of a steep hill which results in a great view of the valley and vineyards. Stayed in the Wadenswil Room, which is located on the second floor with nice views to the west and the vineyards below. The room was relatively large, had a gas fireplace, a tub/shower combo, and a comfy queen bed. There was no TV or phone in the room, which was perfect for a relaxing stay, although the rain one night hitting the metal roof was a little noisey. I found the room to be very comfortable!! The downstairs common area included a dining room, a den-like area with a large fireplace, and an area for wine-tastings. A wraparound porch provided for southern and western exposures. Hot breakfast was served downstairs each morning in the dining room and in late afternoon the owner, Wayne, poured wine for guests. I thought the wine was excellent, particularly the Jordan Pinot Noir, named after the middle daughter. The last evening I attended a wine dinner served in the dining room in which 4 different wines were matched with various foods, including Buffalo Hump Roast, which I had never had before. There were probably 20 or so people for dinner, about half were guests of the inn and half were nearby residents. It was really a great, relaxing event and the food was awesome. Wayne, his wife Nicollette, and their 3 daughters were also there. This made for a family-friendly evening and a great experience. The staff, Becky and Colleen, were very thoughtful and accommodating. I highly recommend Youngberg Hill Inn.

Room Tip: Jura Room is recently remodeled, has a great view to the south, a nice sitting area, and a unique fireplace between the bath and bedroom.

What a joy it was to read your review. It’s nice to read about the friendly environment that we strive to achieve with everyone visiting. The Wadenswil room is quiet cozy corner room with a wonderful view. We get so many compliments about not having TV's in the rooms so people enjoy the quiet and reconnect. For those that do need to be connected we do have a house TV and the estate has WIFI.

You really picked a perfect time to visit with our year end Winemaker Dinner. It was fun to have such different people honor us by sharing stories and fun times. I loved the Buffalo and Duck the most too!

We are looking forward to having you back again for another great visit.
Cheers!

We had a fantastic visit at Youngberg. Never a nicer staff! Friendly, sincere hospitality. Our room was 5-star: the Jura. Recently upgraded bathroom only added to the comfortable bed, fireplace, and fantastic view. Great attention to detail in decor and to guests. Oh yes, their wine is wonderful too. Two great breakfasts, great suggestions of wineries to visit. Would recommend it to anyone and we will return! Thank you Becky, Colleen, and Wayne!

Room Tip: All rooms have great views; east and west views are great.

It’s wonderful for us to know your enjoyed your visit. The Jura Suite is newly remodeled room and was a joy to do. We took such pride in all the details you mentioned and its wonderful to read about them. Youngberg Hill is known for its wonderful wines. We are on a 24 year old organic vineyard and take as much pride with our land and wines as we do with our Inn. The thing that we are most proud of knows we all made your stay warm and welcoming. We can’t wait to have you back again.

We came upon this Inn in the "Select Registry" guide while looking for a unique place to stay on our way south for the winter (snowbirds). It was an interesting route through the Willamette Valley but well worth it. Our hosts and staff could not have been more accommodating and the facility and the views over the valley were spectacular. Well worth another stay but for more than 1 night next time.

A beautiful an comfy inn in the heart of the Willamette Valley. With breathtaking vineyard views, a friendly hospitable staff, clean and cozy rooms and a delicious breakfast. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

It warms our hearts to read these past dozen reviews. Thank you all for taking the time to write about your experiences. Fall is a wonderful time of year to tour Oregon Wine Country. The valley is busy with getting ready for harvest and winemaking and the views at Youngberg Hill are beyond amazing. Those who visit us get to experience what a family owned farm is all about. Guests are encouraged to walk into our organic vineyard and help harvest. We have guests help out at the winery and truly understand the whole process. We are touched by those who have shared this journey with us and we can’t wait for you to continue to visit and watch us grow.

Amazing hidden secret. Loved everything about this inn. The genuine warmth of Becky, the innkeeper, as well as the cleanliness and lovely romantic ambiance of the inn overall. Wonderful views and delicious hearty breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Views from every room, our corner suite was spacious and quiet.
