Fabulous choice of a B and B. Liz gave us wonderful winery choices before we arrived for our drive to McMinnville, one was Domain Serena. Breakfast was exquisite. My husband said it was the best meal he ever had. The presentation was gorgeous. I included those pictures for my Oregon slide show.

LIz and Jacque are a great team to provide excellent service and exquisite breakfasts. How often does the chef come out of the kitchen and shave black truffle on your omelette? He is a publiched cookbook writer and a raconteur of kitchen tales. Liz is helpful with restaurant recommendations. The location is central to much of the wine country in this part of the Willamette valley. Liz was also helpful in identifying wineries that would be interesting to visit. Her garden is a restful place to relax after a day tasting and visiting the air museum. We'd stay there again.

Three great-friend couples from OR, FL, and VA had a wonderful get-together at this fantastic B&B! Our hosts, Chef Jacques and wife Liz, and brother, Michel, from Sacramento, created the most gastronomique breakfasts ever! Special thought to detail from the white/dark chocolate spoons accompanying the fruit course to the delectable truffle oil spritzers on the quiches, just made this stay even more super special! Ask about those yummy ostrich eggs!! The B&B is very well-appointed, immaculately clean, spa-type lotions, soaps, etc. in the rooms. Located in the beautiful town of McMinnville with interesting shops, boutiques, and some of the best restaurants ever! Bistro Maison was superb, and the wine cellar basement bar in the Hotel Oregon has been named one of the most romantic "kissing places" in the Pacific Northwest! And, if you have the energy, climb up to the hotel roof to see the sunset (and another glass of great Oregon wine!) The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum is a winner also! Remember Leonardo di Caprio as Howard Hughes? This OR museum houses his "Spruce Goose" - the world's largest wooden airplane. For lunch, try the Blue Goat in nearby Amity. Amazing tacos! Then, for dessert, have an absolutely spiritual (or maybe sinful) experience as you visit and savor the wonderful fudge made by the monks of the Brigittine Monastery (also in Amity).
Another day ... Another adventure!

We spent our anniversary weekend at the A'Tuscan and absolutely loved it! The decor is elegant and comfortable, Liz and Jacques are knowledgable and so welcoming, and the breakfasts by Chef Jacques were amazing - the tastiest ever! The inn is an easy walk from downtown McMinnville where we found excellent restaraunts and wine tasting opportunities; Lincoln City and Depoe Bay were only an hour or so drive, so we spent some time on the coast as well. A perfectly relaxing and romantic experience!

Room Tip: The Portofino was just right for two of us.

We came to McMinnville for a wedding and left thoroughly rested and relaxed. We spent 3 nights at the Inn with its beautifully appointed rooms and convenient location - just blocks from town. We enjoyed exceptional service, unbelievable breakfasts and interesting conversations with Jacques and Liz. Now we have to figure out how to get back!

My husband and I loved our evening at A Tuscan Estate. Our room was small, but very clean and beautiful with a nice view of the rest of the "estate". It was perfect walking distance to downtown McMinnville and a short driving distance to wineries, where we were able to get a free tasting for mentioning our staying there!

The hostess, Liz, made dinner reservations for us at Thistle and it was the perfect recommendation.

And last but not least, breakfast was delightful. I can't think of any complaints about this quaint B&B!

We spent 2 nights at A Tuscan Estate. The location is convenient with several excellent restaurants within walking distance in McMinnville. We stayed in one of the suites in the annex which was spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were divine...truly gourmet! What a treat! Jacques recommended several excellent wineries to round-out our tasting experience in the Willamette Valley, and we even got some free tastings by mentioning his name! I highly recommend this B&B.
