We chose to stay at Imperial because it has it all on its beautiful property: adorable roooms,a restaurant with delicious food and great local beer and wines, and of course their amazing river rafting guides. I thought it was too good to be true to have it all in one place but it exceeded our expectations! The staff in the hotel, restaurant, and in the rafting area were all so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The only complaint my 14 yr old nephew had is that there are no TV's in the rooms but my husband and I were just fine with that, take a book to read or just enjoy relaxing along the river.
We stayed in the Cattle Baron room which we loved, it was decorated in a rustic way, great view of the river from the 2nd floor. We ate in the restaurant both nights and loved everything we had. Our rafting guide was Phil and he is an amazing guide & teacher. He knows the river so well, his calm demeanor, clear instructions, and his positive approach and confidence in us alleviated my nerves & anxiety ( He's very cute too!) The all day rafting trip was a blast, I would do it again in a heartbeat and as I mentioned before, I was quite nervous. No worries, I'm sure you will love everything about staying and rafting with Imperial.More
