We just spent the Thanksgiving long weekend at Coast Cabins in Manzanita! This place is the best place we have stayed in any of the many places that we have travelled to! We had the Spa Cabin and also Cabin 2. From the hot tub to the sauna to the wonderful kitchen and most comfortable bed we can not say enough good things about Coast Cabins. A perfect home away from home and a short walk to the beach! The wonderful robes, great towels and basket of apples, everything was very touching and we would love to come back one day to stay longer! Really, really love this place and a definite must if you are planning a trip to Oregon. Do not stay anywhere else!!!!

Room Tip: Choose the Spa room, best ever!!!!

Coast Cabins are really terrific , the property although small is charming , as was our room , Cabin #3 . The cabin has a private outdoor seating area with 2 chaises and a hot tub. The interior was really pretty ala " Dwell " but very tight. Of course it's my fault I didn't read the description properly but the bedroom is up and the bath is down and very tiny. So even though it was after hours we contacted the inn keeper and requested a move to one of the larger condos Coast Cabins manages a few blocks away .And they couldn't have been any nicer arriving back, after hours , to open the office and arranged for us to get into a condo [ condo was great ]. We really appreciate Coast Cabins' effort to make us happy and hope for our next visit we can score a larger unit on the cabins beautiful property !

All I can say is...WOW! The staff, the grounds, the accommodations, all superb! Lisa in the office was cheerful, helpful and always professional. This place is Wonderful! We stayed in "The Spa." Especially noteworthy are the kitchen appliances and supplies. We cooked in quite a bit and had everything we needed to make some scrumptious meals. Manzanita is quaint, lovely and very well equipped for the visitor. We will be back as soon as we can!

Room Tip: "The Spa," included a dry sauna....fantastic!

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending four nights at the Coast Cabins and appreciated this wonderful establishment. Like the previous reviewer, we also stayed in Cabin 2. I must say that the property turned out to be just like the reviewers said that it would be. I loved the decor and the little amenities that they provided for their guests. Fresh coffee beans, a fresh basket of fruit, a full set of dishes, silverware, wine glasses, .... I could go on and on. These tiny little things allowed us to have a wonderful experience in Manzanita. If I were to make any suggestion, I would ask the proprietors to find some way to make storing luggage easier than it was. Perhaps turning the narrow seating area on the east side of the upstairs bedroom into a luggage storage area, or remove the chair next to the armoire with some type luggage rack. If there is any way to expand the bathroom to allow for a normal sized sink/vanity it would be absolutely perfect. The one-third sized sink was useless except for washing ones hands. Nonetheless, we found all the other positives outweighed any negative.

Manzanita is the most underrated gem of an Oregon coast town. Coast Cabins is a treasure that only adds to this little village's penache. Probably the most carefully and thoughtfully designed and planned place to stay I have ever visited. From the low key arrival offering of wine at check in, to the immaculate grounds and superbly crafted "cabins," it would be difficult to think the owners forgot anything....That's because they didn't forget anything. And they welcomed our small dog with his own bed and blanket and treats. We will be back many times.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms, We stayed in the North Tower, a two story small gem.

We stayed in Cabin 2-- although a little small (no room for suitcases), it was beautifully designed and well-appointed with everything we needed and more.
The cabins are a short walk to the beach and the town of Manzanita which is small, but has lots of nice shops and restaurants. We spent time driving up and down the coast, which has wonderful towns, hikes, and dramatic views. We would love to return to Coast Cabins.

We enjoyed our stay at the Coast Cabins. We stayed in cabin 4 (the cottage). The staff were super friendly and very much accomadating to our needs. Rooms were cleaned and tidy each day. The grounds are quite private from the nearby road and such. The landscaping and fire pit area was greatly enjoyed by us and our other guests. The beach and shopping district were not too far of a walk. The Cabin itself was nicely appointed with the necessary items for our stay. We enjoyed our use of our own very private hot tub and patio areas. We did not use the private fire pit or the fireplace. The one thing I could say, is minimize the pillows. The rooms were a bit tight for having to place the pillows somewhere when we wanted to retire for the evening, or use the living area. The bed was quite filling for the bedroom, not much room for walking around, and being careful to not stub the toes. The full length mirror was on the wrong side of the closet door, too close to the wall to get a full view of ones self. But overall these were minor for us, but I feel that they should be noted. Manzanita is certainly on our return list, as well as the Coast Cabins. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Be sure to check out their web site to review the cabins and what they each offer.
